Why I'm not sure I could ride a road bike

my god, paul; that's hysterical! I've never popped a wheelie in my life, but now i know what it looks like.

I used to be able to do about a hundred yards no handed, way back when. I can still manage one handed, but mostly stick to just rolling along on the mountain bike, just wheelieing it gets looks from people along the lines of "At your age?".

Ha. I think it's brilliant. It's like a part of your boyhood that you've retained, you know. Such a simple thing is a bike, but so wonderful how much fun you have on them.

I wouldn't have it any other way. As long as I'm physically capable of it, I'll keep on riding them this way. It makes for so much fun :)

Virtual wheelie! I never ever mastered that. Could cycle 'no hands' though

Riding no hands is good for relaxing your back, as long as you have enough speed for keeping your balance. I thought nige meant nohanded wheelies, which is where my hundred yards came from :)

i did mean no-handed wheelies! of the old school BMX club, i knew you could do it!
