why aren't the horses more concerned?
The fires that we had a month or so ago, makes the willy willy a lot more fearsom than they really are.
When its 42 degrees, I suppose its a case of, I'll walk away from it, but I'm not going to run from it.
That's right Mandy.
Normally the willy willys are the same colour as the dust, which up here is redish/white, and not that easy to pick up. When they go across burnt country, you can see them 20km away or more.
They're dust devils here. And I always feel like there's something special about them. I know the mechanics behind the formation, but it doesn't subtract from the wonder.
Maybe because they're like little baby tornadoes.
