Yes, yes people I have emerged from my self realised obscurity to bestow knowledge on all headz. Used ta be out and about now strictly lying low dispensing wisdom.
Too much going down to stay quiet, now all of us have to rise up and speak truth to power.

There has to be more to us than dhal roti and Nokia phones...

New Police Officer in my area came down to give a
talk during Ramadan to some of my guys down da
youthclub. PC Raja Yusef took abit of stick from some
of da lads but was also able to give some truthful
accounts of whats it like being on da other side. Could
never do it myself - be a step too far but respect to da
guy for at least fighting his corner and challenging the
cycle of criminalisation that some of our boys are locked
into.

great portrait....and yes, respect to him, for making an effort (not something you'd usually hear me say about a policeman either)

that's a really neat photo. I have not had good experiences with the coppers, but recently needed them, and they were great. Contradictions are the way to change thinking.

and I try like hell not to meet during Ramadan. Everyone is just waiting for the sun to go down.

Helen says:

Good luck to him (and he looks rather good in uniform).

Viv says:

yes contradictions if that's what they are - are good

no one body should be percieved as good or bad - that is the root of many a problem as we all know!
