We have been busy with our new girl Winni. We adopted her from a local humane society. Calli is adjusting well to the new addition. Winni is 11 months old, young enough to keep Calli on her toes and old enough to be quick enough to catch on to commands.

Ah, the new kid. She's adorable. Winni? Did she come with that name? How is Calli handling the situation? I was wondering when Rick told me, because Calli can be quite the jealous girl.

She was surrendered with the name whitney, the shelter changed it to winni. She responds to it well, I like it SFW does not care for it, but I win. Calli is doing very well. We got a younger female to help with the jealousy. Calli has really taken well to her. Showing her the boundaries and winni has gotten calli to play. Actually has lost a couple of pounds in the last week!!

Oh that's great. I'm really glad it's working out so well. I'm kind of up against it regarding Doll, she needs a puppy. Cachet still has the spirit to play, she just doesn't have the bod anymore. Rick has been playing ball with her every day and she loves it, but she just has so much effing energy and really needs something small to boss around. I suppose I should get serious about looking.

Good luck We started looking at the
website
www.cdhs.net/index.html

so we did not get overwhelmed with the great selection. Also if you do go out, talk to a gal named Caroline. She KNOWS the dogs very well and is very helpful. Happy hunting:)

I'll keep an eye out, thanks. :) There seems to be an abundance of labs (what else) and boxers all over the place, and I won't do either breed. Something will show up when the time is right. I think Mahtocante seriously spoiled me when it came to puppies.

I know, I know. I'll have to talk with Rick. We've got the auction in the morning - the school is auctioning all its stuff, so I'm not sure when we could check things out. I keep looking at Ian. He's a handsome lad.
