Linda (Simpson) organised a gig at Rainhall Drinks Company cellar bar at Barnoldswick (Barlick) and a good night was had by all.
Fed up of dreadlocks and trails of dead leaf and grass so took the scissors to Benji!

Research on pancakes taught me several things, but I stuck to the english traditional recipe of 2 eggs to a pint of milk and 8oz plain flour + salt. I used large free range eggs and organic whole milk. I also added 2oz of melted butter. Only one chef said use a blender, but I thought why not and was pleased I did - so much easier.
Lots of toppings
hot black forest
hot apple pear and cinnamon
melted choc
bananas
strawberries
dried cranberries
raisins
edit - missed out chopped walnut
and of course lemon
assorted sugars
golden syrup
honey
plus cream, greek yogurt and ice creams
don't know about stuffed pancakes but there were a few well stuffed people!
TOSS or TURN?
NEITHER - had 2 frying pans on my cooker and was making my first pancake in the smaller one, but it has straight sides so wasn't easy to turn so I flipped it into the bigger pan - a perfect solution!
We had a lovely day.

might not look it but it's midnight blue cord - the sun was a bit strong thro' the window :)
it was my grandmother's suite and i like it cos it's smallish and has a lady's and a gent's chair - think mog thinks there's a cat's chair
